My mom and grandma being teachers has definitely made me work hard in school. My grandma talks about how when she was my age she was married and starting a family instead of going to school. She worked every day in the packing shed or in the orchards to help provide for her family. Then when my mom decided to become an teacher my grandma went back to school to do it along side her. If anyone knows how hard life can be without an education, it's my grandma. She tells us to focus on your education, because without that life is so much harder. My mom had my sisters and me get summer jobs in the orchards and packing shed. This shows us that you may be able to work there but that doesn't mean you want to work there your whole life. Life is a whole lot easier if you have a higher education. Working hard in school right now may just be the start, but life is going to be so great when all this hard work pays off.
